All communications with our office are confidential and protected by attorney-client privilege for our clients. Although we primarily use phone calls and occasional text messages for client communications, our telecommunications provider requires the following disclosures for any SMS (text) messaging activities.
COLLECTION & USE OF PHONE NUMBERS:
We only collect your phone number when you voluntarily provide it, generally at the start of your client relationship with us. We use SMS messages to provide necessary updates, reminders, or information related to your case. We do not send marketing promotions or discounts.
OPT-IN & CONFIRMATION:
By providing your phone number to The Law Offices of Patrice L. Goldman, you consent to receiving occasional SMS updates regarding your matter. To confirm your opt-in, we may send a confirmation text including:

- Instructions to get help: “Reply HELP for help”
- Instructions to opt out: “Reply STOP to cancel”
- Message frequency disclosure: “Message frequency may vary”

MESSAGE FREQUENCY & RATES:
Message frequency may vary depending on the status of your case or the information we need to share. Standard message and data rates may apply as charged by your mobile carrier. We do not charge any additional fees.
HELP INSTRUCTIONS:
If at any time you need assistance, you can reply “HELP” to any message we send. You will receive an automated response containing:

UNSUBSCRIBING (OPT-OUT) INSTRUCTIONS:
If you no longer wish to receive SMS messages, simply reply “STOP” to any text message from us. After you do this, we will send a confirmation text:

- Acknowledgement of your opt-out
- Notification that you will receive no further messages
